The Function Of Explosion Proof Solenoid Valve

Blog,Valves Study | Jul.01.2021

The difference between a general solenoid valve and an explosion-proof solenoid valve is mainly reflected in the junction box. The so-called explosion-proof means that the energy conversion such as current fluctuations caused by the electromagnetic head lock is not enough to ignite the corresponding ambient gas, that is, the electromagnetic head needs to operate. Exposure of energy to combustible gases is very dangerous.

The explosion-proof solenoid valve can enclose all the components that can cause explosive gas mixture inside the equipment in a shell, and the shell can withstand any joint surface or structural gap of the shell, and the flammable mixture that penetrates into the shell will explode inside without damage, and It will not cause the ignition of an external explosive environment formed by one or more gases or vapors. All parts that may generate sparks, arcs and dangerous temperatures are placed in the flameproof enclosure. The flameproof enclosure makes the internal space of the equipment and the surrounding the environment is separated. There are gaps in the explosion-proof enclosure. Due to the respiration and gas penetration of electrical equipment, there may be explosive gas mixtures inside.

Features:

1. Because of the different structure, the explosion-proof solenoid valve is very durable and its working life is long;

2. Working form: The working form of explosion-proof solenoid valve is divided into long-term working system, repeated short-time working system and short-time working system. Explosion-proof solenoid valves are all long-term working systems, that is, the coil allows long-term energization to work. If the valve is opened for a long time and only closed for a short time, a normally open solenoid valve should be used. When used in a short-time work system and large quantities, special orders can be made to reduce power consumption.

3. Explosion-proof electromagnetic valve operating frequency: When the operating frequency is high, the structure should be a direct-acting solenoid valve, and the power supply should be AC power.
